Program :
Day 01 : Jayapura – Arrival – Wamena – Kilise (L,D)
Arrival Jayapura, meet with me, and continue your flight depart to Wamena at 10:00 or 12:00 (baggage allowed for these flight is 10kg only per passenger, as you can leave your unnecessary baggage in Jayapura with us before leaving. (please note: the flights are delayed very often due bad weather, technical problem, operational of flight). Upon arrival at Wamena airport, we will drop you to local restaurant for having a lunch. Then from Local restaurant directly drop us to Yetni river is direction to Southern Baliem Valley. From here where the trekking begins with all the porters and cook to reach Kilise in approx. 3 hours up and down the little hills. Late afternoon arrive at Kilise village, dinner will be provided by cook and overnight stay at Dani Typical Guest house.(Walk approx.3-4hours) .
Day 02: Kilise – Wuserem (B,L,D)
Walk and crossing the suspension bridge on Baliem River then hike up to 3-4 hours through the beautiful country side and Dani villages to Wuserem. You will encounter and greeted by the Dani people who work in their steep sweet potato garden, lunch en route at river bank. Then you can continue trekking to Wuserem village, Accommodation at the teacher’s guest.
Day 03: Wuserem – Ugem (B,L,D)
Breakfast and then and follow the regular path down until Ugem. Today is a bit harder trekking and but the landscape is very beautiful while we rest on the top of the hill the wind blows very hard and never boring live in this area. We hike 1,5 hours down to Mugi river and cross the small hanging bridge. Lunch boxes have provided in smal river bank, after lunch continue trek to Ugem village. (Walk approx. 5-6 hours). From the here we still hike 3 hours and will arrive in the village of Ugem. stay at local house or teacher’s house.
Day 04: Ugem – Seima – Kurima – Wamena (B,L)
After breakfast, continue the last trekking back to Kurima via Seima village with nice view down to Baliem river and garden on the mountain rigde. Have lunch on the way, arrive in Seima village and kurima sub disctric then by car within 1 hours to the town. Dinner will be on your account and overnight at Baliem Pilamo hotel. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)
Day 05: Wamena – Jayapura – Departure(B)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport, by regular flight at 06:30 leaving for Jayapura. Upon your arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura. Meet with us and drop you to the next gate for check in to the next destination.
