Program :
Day 01: Arrival Kualanamu Airport – Medan – Bukitlawang
Arrive at Kualanamu International Airport “WELCOME TO NORTH SUMATERA“. After clearance at immigration, taking your luggage then meet and greet with tour guide. Depart to Bukit Lawang where we can find Orang Utans for about 4 hours driving from Kualanamu by passing Binjai and small town Kuala. Along the journey we can see rubber and palm oil plantations. Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, check in at hotel.
Day 02 : Wampu River Rafting (B, Lunch included)
After breakfast drive by car to Marike, and at there will be picked up by jeep to Wampu river starting point, where your white water rafting adventure begins. During the rafting, the excellent opportunity to see the bird and wild life as while enjoying the two mild rapids. On arrival at waterfall at the bank of the river you stop for shower, and then lunch. After lunch rafting continue until the stopping point to enjoy a coffee break before driving back to hotel.
Note : during rafting guests will accompanied by local ranger, at rafting point. Guide will send and waiting.
Day 03 : Bukit Lawang Morning Trekking – Berastagi City (B)
In the morning, you visit the feeding platform to see the Orang Utan while being feed and prepared for release back into their natural habitat. After that you continue jungle trekking for 3 hours to explore the park. Steep, slopes and dense vegetation will bring you the excitement of the rainforest.
At noon you leave for Brastagi, a cool and pleasant highland town. Here you can visit the famous fruits market and views two active volcanoes, Sinabung and Sibayak.
Remarks:
Those who bring camera/video in the Orangutan site will be charged additional US$ 6.00 for camera and US$ 18.00 for video.
Note : during trekking guests will be accompanied by local ranger, at trekking point. Guide will send and waiting.
Day 04 : Berastagi Tour – Samosir Island (B)
After breakfast drive to Parapat on the way visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon ( Long house ) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba, upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat arrival at Samosir check in to hotel.
Day 05 : Samosir Excursion (B)
After breakfast excursion on Lake Toba by car and visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages :
- Tomok : to see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings.
- Ambarita : to see stone chair and table the excution place of Sialagan Kings.
- Simanindo : to see Batak Toba traditional dance ( Tor-Tor ) and museum.
Afternoon return back to hotel.
Day 06 : Samosir – Kualanamu Airport (B)
After breakfast transfer from Lake Toba to Medan via Pematang Siantar with view of rubber, oilpalm and cacao plantations. Arriving in Medan proceed to airport for flight to the next destination. Tour ends.
