Day 01: Arrival Kualanamu Airport – Tebingtinggi – Parapat (L,D)
Morning arrival at Kualanamu International Airport. “WELCOME TO NORTH SUMATERA“. After clearance at immigration, meet and greet with representative. Tour proceeds to Parapat via Tebing Tinggi, a 176km or 4hours driving. Arrive at Pematang Siantar visit Bodhisatva Avalokitesvara (Dewi Kwan In) the highest Dewi Kwan In temple in the South East of Asia with total high 22,8m a Buddhism temple. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Passing Desa Bengkel, a food court of traditional snacks made from peanut. Tour continued to Parapat, upon arrival check in at hotel. Dinner served at local restaurant.
Day 02: Parapat – Samosir Tour – Berastagi (B,L,D)
Early breakfast served at hotel. An exciting tour visit Samosir island to see the culture, traditional houses, and ancient site of Batak Toba tribe, Visit Tomok village to see the Batak’s distinctive traditional peak roofed houses, observe their way of life and culture and the old tomb of King Sidabutar with the legend of Anting Malaila. Next is Ambarita Village to see the Stone Court of King Siallagan where the King and his court house meet and discuss the important government matter as well as punish his enemies into dead in his time. Return to Parapat (mainland), lunch at local restaurant. Leaving Parapat for Berastagi, a mountainous resort at Karo Highland regency, en route stop at Simarjarunjung, enjoying the scenic view of Lake Toba. Stop over at Tongging village to see the 120m Sipiso – piso waterfall. Upon Arrival at Berastagi, Check in at hotel. Evening free program, dinner served at local restaurant.
Day 03: Berastagi Tour – Lumbini Park – Medan City Tour (B,L,D)
Breakfast served at hotel. Transfer shopping at the fruit and flower market. Leaving Brastagi for Medan via Sembahe resort, a 60 km or 2 hours driving. En route to Medan visit Pagoda Replica Shwedagon Berastagi a 46,8m high, the second highest pagoda after Burma with gold color. Arrive at Medan, Visit Great Mosque Medan, Maimoon Palace, Maha Vihara Matreya, Shri Mariamman Temple is one proof of the diversity of cultures in Medan since hundreds of years ago. Beautiful pagoda built in 1884 is a temple dedicated to Goddess Mariamman. Shri Mariamman temple is the oldest Hindu temple in the city of Medan. This place is a Hindu cultural heritage of India which till now remained standing beautifully. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit The Asam Kumbang Crododile Farm is the largest in Indonesia with some 2,400 reptiles where you can witness the oldest crocodile that has lived for 45 years. Open:09.00am – 06.00pm. Feeding time : 04.30pm, visit a unique catholic church Graha Maria Annai Velangkanni a church with Indian architecture. Dinner at local restaurant. Evening drop to Sun Plaza Mall.
Day 04: Tjong A Fie Mansion – Independence Square – Rahmat International Wild Life Gallery (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tjong Afie Mansion a two-story mansion in Medan, North Sumatra, built by Tjong A Fie (1860-1921) a Hakka merchant who came to own much of the land in Medan through his plantations, later becoming ‘Majoor der Chineezen’ (leader of the Chinese’) in Medan and constructing the Medan- Belawan railway, visit Merdeka Walk to see the Balai Kota Heritage buildings (post office, lonsum building, Tirtanadi Tower). Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Rahmat International Wildlife Museum & Gallery the only one in Asia that has ± 1000 species of animals of various countries. Museum & Gallery has been entered in the Record Book and has received international awards in the field of conservation efforts to prevent the extinction of wildlife in the world. Displays various collections of wildlife from the smallest to the largest according to the habitat, visit Vihara Gunung Timur a Chinese temple (Taoism) which is the largest in the city of Medan, Indonesia and possibly also on the island of Sumatra. This temple was built in the 1930s. Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 05: Transfer out (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free program before transfer to Kualanamu International Airport for flight home. Tour End.
